Meet the Co-founders

Katie Holme

COO

Katie returned to the UK in September 2021 after living in Madrid, Spain for over a decade whilst also spending time in Portugal and Italy for various work endeavours.

Whilst in Madrid, Katie established and directed her own successful English school. Over the 10 years it was in operation, the business delivered corporate training solutions and Katie developed her passion for supporting businesses in how they communicate with their clients.

Seeing the outcomes and engagement she was creating, Katie was driven to learn more: she attained qualifications in business administration and conference interpreting which, together with her experience in her own SME, equipped her with a solid understanding of the ins and outs of business and communication. This led her to collaborate on a regular basis with big names such as Santander, CBRE, Renault, UEFA and Real Madrid, amongst others, as a corporate trainer and interpreter.

Katie’s linguistic expertise has also enabled her to work as a translator for multiple companies and agencies in the four foreign languages she masters, specialising in the legal, business and financial fields.

After returning to the UK, she expanded into linguistic consulting, advising and helping her clients in order for them to be more successful in their operations abroad.

Katie is also a mentor for the current cohort of modern foreign language students at Manchester Metropolitan University, and works as a volunteer for Lancashire County Council.

She’s recently stepped into a role as charity trustee for a Greater Manchester-based mental health organisation.

Kellie Noon

CEO

Kellie spent nearly a decade in Spain studying and working with organisations to enhance their international intelligence and reach, as well as develop key language skills to build careers internationally for university students and partners.

While based in the Basque Country, Kellie worked closely with the local education authority, private universities and a local government body to support businesses with their international growth and business dealings, predominantly through the Hobetuz business programmes. Once back in the UK, she established a language school for international business professionals and university students in Manchester.

From there Kellie developed this into ‘international fluency’ consulting and training for education as well as private sector industry clients, including inclusive practices and communications consultancy and solutions. During this time Kellie’s client portfolio boasted an array of national and international clients including the English Football League, Child Brain Injury Trust, Lawpact, Innovator International, Stedfast, Nottingham Forest FC and the Manchester Growth Company.

In parallel, Kellie has worked in-house at UK universities on teacher training programmes, pre-sessional programmes for international students, as a programme coordinator and a materials developer. Her expertise within the field of teacher education and intercultural awareness has won her contracts with universities and pathway providers including MMU, University of Lincoln, Arden, Keele, NCUK, INTO and Gradconsult.

Kellie is also a Spanish-English translator, a qualified member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, and regularly assesses new applicants for the organisation.

She’s a board member of two UK SME’s, and trustee of a local charity.

Kieran Rafferty, MD at Rakem Group

"Kellie delivered a helpful, interesting and entertaining course around global communications. She was engaging and very professional. The course subject was tailored to our needs perfectly and supported well with literature. I would highly recommend her to companies working in Import/Export."
